ASJ Catering & Events is committed to working with the local community and supporting local charities through the provision of merchandise, hospitality packages and events support, i.e. for the support of fundraising via auctions and raffles.
From 2017 ASJ will have a list of nominated charities to support. These organisations will be identified in this section of our policy.
The commitment to our main charities will not preclude the business from supporting other local charities and good causes where appropriate. The business may make special provisions in exceptional causes or for national campaigns.
All charitable requests must be submitted in writing or via email 30 days in advance of the event.
Charity requests must be made on organisational letter head or official email. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
The request should contain the following information;
- The organisations name, address and charity number (where appropriate)
- Contact name, email address, postal address and telephone number of organiser
- Type of event – background of donation required
- Day, Date and Time
- Event location
- Beneficiary of funds raised
The business will consider requests on a fortnightly basis. The business reserves the right to refuse any request and a reason will be provided.
